GGU-RETAIN: "Pull-out resistance" menu item¶
If anchors with activated "Verification with qs,k" check box are employed (see menu item "Editor 2/Anchors"), the pull-out resistance analysis can be activated via this menu item.

Skin friction is only applied to the part of the grouted section that lies behind FL and behind the earth pressure line. The earth pressure line results from the analysis; if the system changes (e.g. the water level), the effective grouted section therefore changes as well, while FL and TL remain unchanged.
In addition to the skin friction force, the centroid of the skin friction must be located behind the starting point of deep-seated stability, i.e. behind the length entered in the "Editor 2/Anchors" menu item. A large length, e.g. after optimising deep-seated stability, therefore requires a long grouted section, even if the skin friction force is already sufficient. "Optimise" in the "Evaluation/Analysis of pull-out resistance" menu item only changes TL; FL and length remain unchanged.
